Welcome to Buzzard's Nest - St. Ives....

Buzzard’s Nest is a brand new and hand built timber cabin, designed and built by the owners Marina & Simon who live close by. 

It is situated in the heart of the country on a Cornish working dairy farm run by their family. 

The cabin itself is set back into our privately owned woodland area, it gets its name from the nest, pictured top right, that can be seen in one of the trees there.

Being set up high on Rosewall Hill in an area of outstanding beauty, ‘Buzzard’s Nest’ has some of the most breath taking views out over the country and the sea. Most of the land overlooked by the cabin is owned by the Thomas family and is home for their Guernsey milking herd. The milk produced by this herd is sold locally to a company called Rodda’s who have been made famous for their genuine Cornish Clotted Cream. These views can be enjoyed whilst relaxing on the large decking area provided.

Whilst being in an idyllic country setting, ‘Buzzard’s Nest’ is a mere 2 minute drive from the lively old fishing port of St Ives. St Ives caters for all your needs, from pubs and clubs to beaches and art galleries, to name a few.

We are also at the start of the stunning coastal drive which stretches all the way to Lands End. This road passes though many old Cornish villages, such as Zennor and Pendeen – Pendeen being the home of Geevor tin mine which is open
to the public.

If you are keen walkers then there is no better place than Cornwall. Whether you seek hard, easy, long or short walks
there is something for everyone.

We prefer to organise our bookings on a Friday to Friday
basis, this relieves our guests of the busy traffic experienced when driving on a Saturday.

Our prices have no hidden extras; all towels, linen and electric etc are included and upon arrival you will receive a complimentary bottle of milk and basket of eggs (chickens permitting!) Free Wireless Internet also available.

When making a booking we request a 25% deposit (non-refundable if you should cancel) with the remainder payable
4 weeks prior to your stay, we can only accept cash or cheques.
